black onyx snake ring

A snake coiled twice around the finger in oxidised white metal, every scale worked by hand, holding a round black onyx cabochon at its head.

The heaviest and strangest thing we make. It sits high on the finger and gets noticed.

The serpent has stood for renewal for as long as anyone has told stories — the shed skin, the ring with no end. Black onyx, set at its head, is traditionally worn for protection and self-possession.
