Raw aquamarine sits between two pieces of rough rose quartz, held in an electroformed copper band. Nothing here is cut — the stones are set exactly as they came out of the earth, rough faces and all.

Aquamarine is the pale blue-green of shallow sea. Rose quartz is cloudy pink, soft at the edges. Together they run cool and warm at once.

Aquamarine has long been carried as a sailor's stone, associated with calm and clear speech. Rose quartz is traditionally the stone of the heart — gentleness, self-compassion, and love in all its forms.
